Groupthink is so entrenched that even when we’re trying to be disruptive, we’re usually unanimously disruptive. Which of course isn’t disruptive at all.
The two of us have come up with a new solution. It stems from the fact that we’ve always enjoyed a good argument. It’s just the way we are. For many years, if someone’s said “A”, we’ve instinctively replied with “Z”.
Now we’re proud to introduce On The Other Hand - a little two-man consultancy that’s ready, at a moment’s notice, to rush round and argue with any marketing plan, or idea, or proposal, which you think might benefit from an intelligent challenge.
We offer a choice of many formats. We can structure our argument as a workshop, or a presentation, or indeed a lunch. We can argue with each other (taking opposing roles), or with you (both taking the other side). But whatever the format, you’ll get a process of robust challenge that’ll make sure your plan is as good as it can possibly be.
Not everyone will fancy paying a couple of blokes to come in and argue with their ideas. But that’s OK.
After all, if everyone went for it, it would just be groupthink again.
